Atlanta Market Faves!

Team J Banks Design attended the Atlanta AmericasMart for the International Gift & Home Furnishings Market.  We are always inspired by the products and vendors we see so let us share a few of our favorites!

The Design Legacy temporary space was filled with vibrant pink.  Mimicking Audrey Hepburn’s quote, we too believe in pink!

Mr. Brown Home,  as usual, was filled with fun, funky, chic and timeless pieces that we adored.  Here are some of our top picks..

These swing arm, extending sconces would be amazing for bedside lighting, art display or in a library.

This Tito cabinet from Mr. Brown Home brilliantly interprets classic marquetry patterns in a lively patchwork of positive and negative space

Fierce and fab – we’ve got plans for you!  This molten looking, jagged edge bronze fixture is HOT.   Expect to see this in our showroom, next restaurant project or over one of our client’s dining room tables.  Application TBD!

One corner of the GO Home Ltd showroom told a very colorful story! These custom backed books are made in any color imaginable.  Available in craft paper, alligator and shagreen prints, old world script and even a set that replicates the New York skyline and the Eiffel Tower.  Available now in the J Banks Retail store.

Dransfield & Ross is always a go-to for luxurious decorative pillows.  We loved the blue and white color story, as well as the batik looking prints.  Living in a Coastal Region, we also adored the oversized fish design who will be visiting our store in the next few weeks!

Dransfield & Ross also had a new Sunbrella line of outdoor pillows and accessories that was impressive.  Although suitable for outdoor use, they didn’t skimp on the designer details.  Texture, fringe and quilting galor!

The pops of color in the Jamie Young showroom caught our eye! The glass pendants (left) would be amazing grouped together over a kitchen bar or island and the colored decorative accessories would make a drab bookcase come alive (right).

These desert skulls are an of-the-moment home accessory also seen at Jamie Young.

The new and improved disco ball!  These sparkling, antique mirrored globes are luxurious and sophisticated.   A designer favorite from Notre Monde!

We always love Luna Bella’s avante garde creations.  Their new glass and wire bar top was illuminated and changed colors ever few minutes.

Leave it to  Made Goods to master the oyster shell mirror.  Perfect translation for updated Lowcountry style!

This Bobo Nicaraguan cocktail table’s wood is locally harvested and the stones are collected on the coast then affixed by hand. Love the rustic, organic materials paired with the clean lines and glass top

We want to swivel it up in these grey egg chairs from Uttermost!

And the classic cow hide used in a unexpected headboard application.  The soft painted finish makes this appropriate for Coastal areas or in the Mountains!

So, which are your favorites?!

JB
