As Vice President of Operations at J. Banks Design Group, Amanda Ives brings nearly two decades of experience in the interior design industry, along with a strong foundation in both business and design to her leadership role. She leads the firm’s operational strategy and day-to-day execution, ensuring smooth collaboration across departments including design, project management, procurement, logistics, and client services, allowing projects to move seamlessly from concept to completion.

Amanda joined J. Banks in 2015 as a Design Associate following eight years of experience in both residential and commercial design. That foundation supported her continued growth within the firm and now informs her hands-on, solution-oriented leadership style. Since then, she has played a pivotal role in strengthening internal systems and scaling the firm’s capacity to manage a diverse portfolio of high-end residential and luxury hospitality projects around the world.

She studied at both Savannah College of Art and Design and Georgia Southern University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design and completed minors in Business and Art. As a strategic leader, Amanda is known for her thoughtful and balanced approach, combining creative insight with operational clarity to help teams deliver exceptional results with efficiency and excellence throughout the J. Banks organization.
