The geometric art in the Geoforma series feature hand-applied gold leaf zig-zags across navy blue, mossy green, lime green or pale turquoise blocks of color. The raised-white matting on each piece is a luxe touch and the shadow-box frame made of wood has been treated to a silver-leaf finish with gold-wash edging. One of each color hung gallery style creates a colorful display with a luxurious feel. Each Geometric Art measures 15-inches high by 15-inches wide by 2-inches deep, which makes the suitable for smaller walls if hung singly or in a low vertical row. Joni Vanderslice, who created these compositions, is a professional interior designer and the owner of the internationally renowned design firm J. Banks Design. The collection embodies Vanderslice’s point of view ‘luxury without pretense,’ her design style incorporating coastal influences, a playful and sophisticated use of color, fun twists on classic motifs, large-scale focal art pieces and ethnic patterns.
