INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for an Interior Design Project Manager that will manage the day-to-day needs of a project by establishing timelines and ensuring standards are maintained. Special focus will be applied to ensuring deliverables are fulfilled in advance of deadlines. Communicating needs to the design team and related departments is key in ensuring all steps and procedures are taken and that all work is completed as planned, budgeted and scheduled. Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Interior Design required, CIDA or NAAB preferred
  • Three to five years’ project management experience in the Interior Design or Architecture field required
  • Demonstrate knowledge of interior design practices and procedures, such as estimating, negotiations, coordination, customer service, drafting
  • Utilize computer software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Effectively prepare and present ideas, schedules, and information to Designers, Clients, and Vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

A partial list of duties includes the following:

  • Manage the day-to-day needs of the projects through other design staff assigned to the project
  • Scheduling, confirming, and maintaining teams’ calendars and client appointments
  • Establish project schedules to ensure timelines and deliverables for each meeting/phase are met
  • Review and redline work submitted by team members
  • Maintain all logs and records and compose documentation and correspondence necessary to the project
  • Research product and/or vendors and order samples as needed to assist the team
  • Specification entry and reporting as needed to assist the team
  • Produce and submit drawings and renderings as needed
  • Create and monitor project budgets
  • Liaise with various departments, including procurement, warehouse, and retail
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, and other project contacts as directed by Designer
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and site visits as needed
  • Work closely with the Lead/Visioning Designer to execute tasks as directed
  • Identifying and helping to resolve project problems and noting opportunities
  • Work within the company culture, adhering to company policies and procedures and represent the Company in a professional manner

RESIDENTIAL ASSOCIATE DESIGNER
