Job Summary:

The Human Resource Manager will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including hiring and interviewing staff, payroll processing, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Partners with the leadership team and outside HR consultants to understand and execute the organizations human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Assist with the payroll processing/ commission calculations and PTO leave processing consistent with the company policies.
  • Participates in the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, particularly for managerial, exempt, and professional roles; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
  • Oversees and assist with employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

PROCUREMENT COORDINATOR

Procurement Coordinator

Our company is located on Hilton Head Island, SC and we have been in business for over 30 years. We are seeking a full-time Procurement Coordinator.

The Procurement Coordinator works directly with the Warehouse/Receiving department to ensure all furniture and materials ordered for residential and commercial design projects moves from vendor to client in a smooth and timely process in advance of anticipated installation. Focus is on placing orders, tracking orders, acknowledgements and garnering a knowledge of vendor specific details and requirements.
