Gator Joe-set of 4 prints

This set of four colorful Gator Joe alligator prints in the J. Banks Collection, designed by Joni Vanderslice for Paragon Art, brings bright pops of color to a space. The beauty of the sum of its parts is how we’ve mixed contemporary and traditional to bring an eclectic array of art to the marketplace. Contrast is also an important aspect of this collection: white lacquered frames pair with dark wood; pictures in a large scale fit beautifully with smaller pieces; and abstracts complement landscapes through tonal consistency.

Wahoo watercolor coastal art designed by Joni Vanderslice for the J Banks Collection by Paragon Art

Wahoo Watercolor

The Wahoo Watercolor features a whimsical fish with a personable amount of abstraction to make what would normally be a decidedly nautical piece of art read as thoroughly modern! There are two options for this painting—one with hints of coral colors and one that leans more toward watery green. You can see that the creator of these compositions, Joni Vanderslice, is comfortable in nature, particularly the variety that thrives anywhere near the seaside. Wahoo Watercolor is matted in white with hand applied decorative paper accents and framed in a distressed silver molding.

Arusha is a work of art in the j banks collection created by Joni Vanderslice for Paragon Art

Arusha

Like ethnic feathers of color, the abstract motifs in Arusha make this a beautiful work of art for a contemporary interior. The space between each swath of color thanks to the pale backdrop is one of the strengths of this composition, as is the darkness of the wood frame. Don’t be afraid to place Arusha in a pale interior, as the personality of the piece will fit right in and bring a hint of warmth to its corner of the room.

But the Watercolor composition could have been inspired by a countryside in almost any part of the world, which makes is a wonderful decorative accent for traditional and transitional interiors anywhere.
