Residential Design

When we release news of upcoming projects or present visuals of completed ones, we fine the post under this tag. Among the residential projects we have completed recently are WaterWalk at Shelter Cove Towne Centre in Hilton Head, for which we designed all of the common areas, including the clubhouse, leasing office, wellness center and business center, and make all hard selections for the individual apartment homes.

We also recently completed the Timbers Kiawah Ocean Club & Residences on Kiawah Island. As Interior Designers on the project, the J. Banks Design Group wanted to create a new design vernacular that adds a contemporary twist to the traditional beach resort. The whimsical blue front door invites you in to escape your busy everyday life. You hear the call of the ocean waves. Expansive windows and doors lead to spacious decks, welcoming family and friends to relax, reconnect, and spend time together while breathing in the fresh salt air.

Banks Design Group has been the interior design firm for Timbers Resorts since their first property, this latest project joining Timbers Club in Snowmass, CO. Other Timbers Projects include Esperanza, Castello di Casole, Sebastian, and One Steamboat Place in the firm’s portfolio.

We also designed The Standard James Island in Charleston for which the IIDA gave us an Honorable Mention for a multi-family residential project in 2017. We received a First Place award from the Organization that same year for a multi-family residential project for Wharf 7 on Daniel Island.
