Timbers Kiawah Ocean Club & Residences
Timbers Kiawah Ocean Club & Residences is the newest addition to the Timbers Collection. The first Private Residence Club to be built oceanfront on Kiawah Island in South Carolina. J. Banks Design worked with Timbers Kiawah to design the 3-bedroom residences and 4-bedroom penthouse homes, clubhouse and pool restaurant. We have created a new coastal look for Kiawah Island, that is reflective of the exterior with expansive views.
The clubhouse will feature a central lounge area, a state-of-the-art fitness facility and a temperature-controlled Owners’ wine wall. The model is currently open and we will have the rest of the interiors completed for an October 2018 opening.
It was wonderful working on this project for the positivity that was always in the air. Developers say of the community at the Timbers Kiawah Ocean Club, “Anything Is Possible” there. Imaginations have free rein on Kiawah Island. The ocean, beaches, dunes and forest provide an ideal setting for however you wish to spend your day. And because Timbers staff members are in charge of the details of your visit—and the upkeep of your home—you’ll have more time for all those delightful possibilities.
Our aim with the interiors was to make the Beach Club at Timbers Kiawah a home-away-from-home. A place to hang at the shimmering oceanfront pool. The visionaries behind the project ask, “But what would a Beach Club be without a Clubhouse?” And this clubhouse was designed to excite all ages, including the kids who can blow off some steam in the Timbers Tykes Room. The adults were not left out: they can pamper their wines in the temperature-controlled storage room and challenge themselves in the state-of-the-art fitness room. The club will even provide a daily grab-and-go breakfast to let your family launch into the day satisfied and fueled for the adventures to come.
We see it as a privilege at the J. Banks Design Group to design all of these spaces that make the daily experiences of any resort’s visitors as lovely as they can be.
